AI NorthEast Region

AI Northeast Region Donates Concrete to Help Build the "Boston Hope" Hospital Project

Aggregate Industries in Boston is trying to help the fight against Covid-19. Through one of our customers, we donated concrete to help build the “Boston Hope” project.

Boston Hope is a 1000-bed hospital that serves post-acute COVID-19 patients and homeless patients with COVID-19. The 500,000 square foot Boston Convention was converted into the now-open Partners Health Care facility called Boston Hope.

Our customer needed 4000 PSI overnight to place a generator on Saturday morning, so QC Manager Mark Liebert got the right mix for the team and oversaw the pouring process from start to finish.

The project was a success, and our customer was extremely happy when we told them we wanted to donate the concrete to help.

AI Mountain Region Food Drive

AI Mountain Region Donates more than 6,000 Pounds of Food and Supplies

During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, management and employees of Aggregate Industries (AI) – West Colorado Region wanted to assist families struggling to make ends meet. They selected the Outreach United Resource Center, Inc., or the OUR Center based in Longmont, CO, to support with a food drive. Aggregate Industries employees, representing 23 work sites, banded together with a goal to collect more than 4,000 pounds of non-perishable foods and needed supplies. AI employees collected employee donations from 23 working sites and delivered them to the OUR Center. Upon final weighing of the donation items, the OUR Center became the benefactor of 6,493 pounds of very needed food and supplies as well as $450 in gift cards donated by AI employees.
