In December 2015, Yuliya Kravstov was appointed Regional Head of Geocycle for LafargeHolcim in North America and CEO of Systech Environmental. Geocycle and Systech are a leading provider of industrial and municipal waste management services. Waste streams processed by Geocycle and Systech are used for manufacturing of cement as alternative fuel and materials, thus providing more environmentally sustainable solutions to many large and small waste generations versus land filling or incineration. In this position, she sits on the executive committee for Lafarge North America and oversees an organization of more than 500 employees at 33 sites across Canada, Mexico and the United States.
Prior to her role with Geocycle, Ms. Kravstov was Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for the US Cement business. She was responsible for business development and M&A activities for Lafarge USA prior to the merger and led the merger process for Lafarge and Holcim in the United States in 2015.
With a strong background in finance and strategy, Ms. Kravstov held a number of leadership roles at Discover Financial, the Boston Consulting Group and for General Motors.
Ms. Kravstov received a Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting from Walsh College, Michigan, in 1997. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business in 2003 and has attended the Executive Leadership Development Program at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business in 2006.
