LafargeHolcim Sites Receive Top Honors for Environmental Excellence from NSSGA


Chicago, IL, September 25, 2018 – Today, the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) recognized two LafargeHolcim sites with its highest awards for Environmental Excellence at the NSSGA Legislative and Policy Forum in Washington, DC. The Honey Island Sand and Gravel site in Pearl River, LA was awarded the 2018 Platinum Award and Presque Isle Quarry in Presque Isle, MI was awarded the Gold award.

The recipient of the Platinum Award is considered the top achiever for environmental efficiency based on the strength of its environmental programs, employee training, site best management practices, outreach programs, results and management systems.
