James "Lee" Carroll was appointed Head of the Texas-Louisiana Region for the Aggregates and Construction Materials (ACM) business in 2015. He oversees aggregates and ready-mix operations that cross Texas from Dallas/Fort Worth to Houston and east to Louisiana and the Gulf Coast. He is part of the ACM Executive Committee and reports directly to the US CEO.
Mr. Carroll is a seasoned leader in the construction materials industry, with more than 35 years of experience. He oversees and manages more than 650 employees, 36 ready-mix sites, five aggregate/sand and gravel production facilities and three rail yards with a combined earnings of $373M.
Prior to the merger in 2015, Mr. Carroll worked as vice president of Sales and Marketing at Lattimore Materials Corporation, now part of the LafargeHolcim family since 1999. He also previously worked as a sales representative, sales manager, concrete production manager, area manager, and director of operations at Pioneer Concrete in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Carroll attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and served as Chairman of the Texas Aggregate and Concrete Association from 2006 to 2007.
