Brad Perlstein, Vice President of Organization and Human Resources, is responsible for human resources operations supporting nearly 7,000 employees across US Cement and ACM businesses at LafargeHolcim in the United States. Mr. Perlstein joined LafargeHolcim in 2019 with 26 years in human resources.
Mr. Perlstein comes to LafargeHolcim from Komatsu America Corp., a global manufacturer and supplier of construction and mining equipment. An accomplished senior leader, Mr. Perlstein served in roles of progressive responsibility while at Komatsu. He served most recently as Vice President Human Resources from 2012 to 2019, during which time he leveraged an employee excellence program and led a major acquisition.
From 2005 to 2011, he led talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, safety and compliance under the title of Corporate Human Resource Director at Komatsu. His interest in human resources evolved greatly from his time at Culligan from 2002 to 2005 and at Ivex Packaging from 1999 to 2002.
Mr. Perlstein earned a Bachelor degree in industrial psychology and a Master’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Beyond his education and career tenure, Mr. Perlstein actively participates in numerous industry organizations, including the Society of Human Resource Management. His dedication to the human resources industry earned him a nomination by Chicagoland Human Resources Executives based on leadership, innovation and career accomplishments.
