As Head of the Northeast and Great Lakes West Regions, Brad Kohl is responsible for aggregate, ready-mix and construction operations from Ohio across to New England. He serves as a member of the US ACM Executive Committee and also leads the Safety and Frontline Leadership training for the US ACM business.
With more than 20 years in the construction material business, Mr. Kohl oversees a business unit comprising 900+ employees, 31 production facilities and six docks. As a strong business leader, he has a long track record in operations process improvements and cost containment, along with a high level of safety engagement.
Prior to the LafargeHolcim merger in 2015, Mr. Kohl held a series of leadership positions at Lafarge Western Canada in the aggregates and marine divisions. From 1998, he served as commercial manager at GVA Aggregates and in 2010, was named vice president in Vancouver Aggregates, where he was instrumental in permitting 126 million tons of additional reserves for long term sustainability in the Vancouver market.
Before joining Lafarge Western Canada, Mr. Kohl worked as a branch manager from 1995-1998 at Island Asphalt Group and at Peter Kiewit Sons from 1988-1995 holding various leadership positions.
Mr. Kohl graduated in 1988 with a finance degree from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Alberta, Canada. He also has attended executive management programs at Duke University and Queens University.
